SE Ranks in US News' List of Top Ohio Schools Each year, US News and World Report provides both a national and state-by-state ranking of high schools based on a number of qualifications including state reading and math proficiency and performance scores, service to lower socio-economic students, Advanced Placement performance data, and graduation rates. This year, Seneca East ranked #109 in the state of Ohio out of 902 high schools rated putting us in the top 12% of schools statewide. However, when considering ranked schools on the list with high school enrollments at or under 315 students, Seneca East ranks in the Top 13 of all smaller schools in Ohio. On a national scale, SE came in at #3,083 out of 17,792 high schools evaluated, putting SE in the top 17% on a national scale according to this publication. This is, once again, a tremendous accomplishment that stems from many reasons, one being the cooperation between the community and its educators. This high ranking is also a recognition of the diligence on the parts of the students, the work of a dedicated staff, and the support from a caring community. Congrats to all on a job well done.
