6th grade math students set a math grade goal each quarter. They decide what letter grade they would like to earn for the quarter and work towards achieving it each day. Students check grades in class every three weeks and do a written self-reflection to evaluate what they need to do differently to achieve the grade they want by the end of the quarter. These outstanding student set an achievable goal and successfully met their grade goal for quarter one!
