Author Jeff Orlowski visited Seneca East on Wednesday, March 29th, during Right to Read Week. Jeff is an Ohio author and wrote Avery Green and the Spirits of Dreams and Avery Green and the Secrets of the Glowing Forest. Jeff took our elementary students on a journey of the imagination with a "magic carpet" ride. He shared the quote, "Everything that is real was imagined first" from The Velveteen Rabbit. He talked about the importance of imagination in inventing everything that exists in our everyday lives. He also had the students use their own imagination and he gave away signed book posters to participants. Jeff concluded the presentation by signing books for students. We are grateful that Jeff could celebrate Right to Read Week with us!
